Praslin scouts complete their first island expedition
Two days of walking, navigation and camping — planned and led by the scouts themselves.

Eighteen scouts from 1st Praslin completed a two-day expedition across the island, carrying everything they needed and navigating by map and compass.
The patrols planned their own routes, cooked their own meals and pitched camp before dark on the first night. Leaders followed at a distance, stepping in only when asked.
Every scout who took part has now completed the expedition requirement for their next badge.
